This year’s Single Service Project Award winners demonstrated curiosity, creativity and commitment as they supported many different causes and needs in their communities. Get inspired by their stories! 

Courtside Pride: St. John’s College Builders Club in Nassau, Bahamas, made the school’s basketball court area more welcoming by painting benches, installing privacy mesh and designing the mesh with school name. 

The Giving Chain: Heir Force Community School Builders Club of Lima, Ohio, U.S., organized a schoolwide project to provide meals for families at a shelter that serves the unhoused. The club set up a schedule to coordinate and deliver food donations from teachers. 

Helping Hands: Merritt Brown Middle School Builders Club, in Panama City, Florida, U.S., supported and cheered on children with autism as they participated in field day activities. 

Mural Project: St. Raymond School in Downey, California, U.S., worked with a local artist and volunteers to create murals to beautify three walls in its school. 

Olympic Games for Special Needs Kids: Byron Middle School Builders Club in Byron, Illinois, U.S., organized and hosted a day of activities for students in the school’s special education program to play games and activities and earn prizes.
