Heading into our 16th year, this amazing Kiwanis-sponsored club continues to impress me with members’ inclusive nature and outside-of-the-box ideas. The leadership group is constantly finding new ways to get involved, while maintaining past community connections. A worldwide pandemic wasn’t even enough to get this crew down, as they continued to find new, inventive ways to stay connected with one another while serving others.
This year’s roster boasts 45 hardworking individuals who are committed to bringing out the best in everyone, whether through school spirit or service initiatives. Officers recently presented at a Kiwanis Club of Owosso meeting, where they discussed their work for just over 45 minutes.
As much as Builders Club students give to one another, as a 16-year club advisor, I can honestly say that my experiences advising Builders Club and Student Council have made the biggest impact on me as an educator. I am constantly humbled and amazed by everything this club stands for. As we head into the holiday season, I would like to thank Builders Club members, past and present, for their years of service. You have made me so proud. Thank you! You rock!
