Builders Club week with blue backgroundInteractive Advisor Education

Members can create an amazing scrapbook, using photos, souvenirs, examples, newspaper clippings, etc., to document the year in the life of the Builders Club. Scrapbooks can either be “hard copy” (i.e., a literal handheld scrapbook) or online.

For either option, the scrapbook must be divided into the following sections:

1. Heart to serve. Share photos of club members displaying their passion for helping others.
2. Call to lead. Share your most successful service project. Include two to three sentences about the need your club discovered and the club’s plan to help. Share photos of the service project in progress. Explain the impact of the project (e.g., “We collected books for 100 people”). Share what club members learned.
3. Courage to engage. Share a fundraising project your club conducted to help address a cause. Or share an advocacy campaign your club led to engage others in a cause and to educate them about it.

Scrapbooks must be created using a standard three-ring binder notebook, a standard size scrapbook, or a homemade version. As long as a cover is holding the contents of the book, the entry will be accepted for judging. There are no size limitations.

Include the following information on the inside cover of the scrapbook page: Club name, club district and faculty advisor address, phone number and email address.

Mail entries to: Builders Club Scrapbook Contest, Kiwanis International, 3636 Woodview Trace, Indianapolis, IN 46268.

Photo releases must be submitted for each entry. They can be sent with the scrapbook or scanned and emailed to
