K-Kids and Builders Club Administrator Chat: Using Kiwanis Engage and DA resources.  Wednesday, September 16, 2026, 7-8 p.m. ET. Learn about information you can access in Kiwanis Engage, including reports of active clubs and club advisors, and about the SLP 101 training module for K-Kids and Builders Club advisors. Then hear about new administrator resources, including promotional rack cards and customizable emails and letters to use for new club growth. Join the meeting.

K-Kids and Builders Club Administrator Chat: What we’ve learned about clubs. Wednesday, January 13, 2027, 7-8 p.m. ET. Gain a better understanding of K-Kids clubs and Builders Clubs from member and advisor survey data and what members of the faculty advisor councils have taught us. Learn what’s most important to members and advisors and what members gain from belonging to clubs. Join the meeting.

Useful District Administrator Reports

Administrators can download Builders Club district reports through Kiwanis Engage. Weekly updated reports can also be downloaded through the Service Leadership Club Reports webpage. Use reports to learn:

• How many clubs are there in your district and where they are located.
• Each club’s status (active or inactive).
• Which clubs have paid a renewal fee for the current year.
• Information on newly chartered clubs.

The Role of a District Administrator

A Builders Club district administrator is a Kiwanis volunteer appointed by the Kiwanis district to support and grow the program across the district’s area. Their main responsibilities are:

Ambassadorship: An administrator is the “go-to” person for the Builders Club program in their district. Ambassador’s activities include attending district events, hosting workshops and sharing information about Builders Club.

Opening new clubs: The administrator is responsible for opening new clubs mainly by identifying and sharing information with potential host sites (schools, organizations, etc.) and working to interest Kiwanis clubs in sponsoring new Builders Clubs.

Supporting Builders Clubs: An administrator has the important responsibility of supporting and strengthening existing clubs. They do this by sharing clubs’ stories, hosting virtual meetings to connect advisors, and helping clubs solve challenges.

Liaison to Kiwanis International: District administrators are the primary link between Kiwanis International and clubs in their district. They share information and event reminders with advisors and attend virtual administrator events.

Committee leadership: Some districts have a Builders Club committee (or Service Leadership Programs committee) that helps support the program or all SLPs in the district. The administrator would lead or serve on the committee.

All district administrators are required to sign the Kiwanis Code of Ethics and Conduct and adhere to Kiwanis Youth Protection Policies. They must clear a background check and complete youth protection training every two years.
